How To Play Blackjack

For the game to start, the amount must be chosen.

In this case, when dealing the cards, the dealer will give you two, which he will place face up on the table, and will remain with two, one of which will remain face up and one down, so that it is not possible to know your hand.

The cards have a numerical value between 1 and 10, with J, Q and K being equal to 10, while the value of As is decided by the player in an interval between 1 and 11, as it suits him.

The winning hand will happen by having two cards (10+A) that form 21 (“blackjack”) and, in second place, by adding 21, or the closest value to it, from other combinations.

Once the cards are dealt, it’s time to make a decision.

In this case, different options are possible:

You can ask for a card or dealer to add more numerical value to your cards.

If you are in a pair, it is also possible to separate the cards and play as if you have two different hands.

Which ends up implying also in doubling the bet.

You can also keep the cards obtained and not ask for any more.

Or double the bet, if you have good cards.

End of first round

After the end of the first round, the dealer must show his second card (the one that remained face down).

And if his cards have a value equal to or less than 16, he must take more cards, until he reaches at least 17.

Once you reach this value, you can stay with it.

In this case, the winner will be either the player or the house, which in the end has the closest score to 21, but without exceeding it.

Online Blackjack Rules

In it, the goal is to beat the casino dealer, adding as close as possible to 21 – but never going above it.

Online Blackjack is played with 3 boxes and 6 standard 52-card decks, excluding wildcards.

Cards 2 to 10 have the same value indicated by their numbering. Cards with the letters K, Q and J (Kings, Queens and Jacks) are worth 10 points each. Aces can be worth 1 or 11 – it is the player himself who sets this value, so as not to exceed 21.

The “Blackjack play” is when, at the beginning of the game, the player’s two cards add up to 21, making him a winner . If during the game you have a hand that adds up to 21 points, this is NOT blackjack, as the number 21 must be reached with just two cards.

When the match starts, each player places their initial bet. When all participants have bet, the dealer closes the betting round. Then the cards are dealt.

At online casinos, the game takes place with a dealer generated by the software itself. The dealer gives the player two open cards, while he has only one open card. The player’s cards are face up.

In blackjack each participant can make several moves: Split, Ask, Stand and Double. What is each of these moves?

Split: If your two face-up cards have the same value, you can split them and play two individual hands. This play is also known as Split Hand and has several rules:

  • Only one Split action is possible.
  • Splitting will double your initial bet, and you will play both hands, one after the other.
  • After splitting the Aces, you will receive an additional card for each of the split hands.
  • For all split hands, with the exception of Ace splits, you can hit multiple times.
  • In a split hand, an Ace plus a 10-valued card counts as 21, not Blackjack.

Ask: You can ask for more cards until you reach 21 points. However, if you exceed this amount, the bad news is that you lose immediately.

Stay: You can do this at any time. It’s about keeping the hand of cards you already have, without adding more cards.

Doubling: You have the possibility to double your bet as soon as you receive two open cards in the starting hand, except after splitting two Aces.

If you do, you can only be dealt one more card for the rest of the game, and your hand will remain the same.

Remember that if you choose Order, Double or Split, the decision will be valid for the next card you receive.

When you decide to stand, or when your hand exceeds 21 points, the next cards dealt automatically follow to the next hand or dealer . Cards are shuffled again before each round.

The round in Blackjack ends when the dealer ends his hand.
